Surroundings
Apart from its unique mountains and its numerous walking trails South Tyrol also has a variety of historical sights to offer. The old towns of the capital Bozen and the episcopal town Brixen are definitely worth a visit, and so is the world-famous ice-mummy „Ötzi“, Reinhold Messner’s new Mountain Museum, the gardens of Trautmannsdorff Castle as well as several other natural and historical monuments.
At a distance of just 5 km from Frötscherhof is Brixen, a lively, charming and traditional town with a lot of typical restaurants and shops.
The Plose Ski Area is only 1.5 km away from our farm.
South Tyrol is also an ideal place for mountain biking.
The Public Swimming Pool of Brixen with its numerous in- and outdoor pools, its water-slides and children‘ s play area , its sauna and whirlpools is the perfect place to have fun or to relax.
