Holidays in the snow

On our farm “Frötscherhof“  you have the opportunity to enjoy a wonderful winter landscape, to build snowmen, go ice-skating or play ice-hockey.

Activities like skiing, sledging, ski-touring, cross-country skiing or walking in the snow will keep our winter guests fit.

The Plose Ski Area is only 1.5 km from our farm and 6 km from the episcopal town of Brixen.  It holds unforgettable sports- and outdoor adventures in store for you.

Plose is the gate to the Dolomites (UNESCO World Natural Heritage since 2009). From the ski resort’s peaks you get a breath-taking view of the Dolomites in the south and the Main Chain of Alps in the north.

Plose is a small, cozy ski area catering for the wishes of those doing winter sports. Ten modern ski-lifts, pistes of different levels of difficulty and a variety of homely restaurants promise an enjoyable day on the snow.

Broad pistes guarantee fun for all ages – The Plose is an ideal resort for families. For those looking for a challenge there is the  „Trametsch“, the longest  groomed ski run in South Tyrol covering  an altitude difference of  1.400 m and a length of 9 km.

For snowboard freaks the fun-park of the Snow Island Team offers a variety of jumps, quarter –pipes, rails, border cross and a lot more.
